Global EPFP Application
Share |
Applications accepted until the cohort is full & must be submitted by July 31st.

Program Requirements
Global EPFP requires participation in monthly, two-hour online seminars from August, 2013 - March 2014, which are on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. In addition, GEPFP Senior Fellows are expected to participate in the United Kingdom Study Tour, October 18-27, 2013 and a capstone convening in Washington, DC on April 26, 2014 to be held in conjunction with the annual EPFP Washington Policy Seminar. GEPFP Senior Fellows have the option of completing a policy analysis on some facet of U.S./U.K. policy. Applicants should consider these extra demands on their time in light of their current professional and personal schedule.

The United Kingdom Study Tour will involve periods of walking, climbing steps and standing for extended periods of time during briefings and cultural visits. The United Kingdom’s infrastructure may not be the most accessible and/or comfortable for people with certain disabilities, including mobility impairments and respiratory issues.

Applications for the 2013-2014 program year -- along with a $750 deposit to secure your spot -- will be received until the cohort is filled. All applications must be received by July 31, 2013 at 5:00 PM. (Note: $500 of the deposit is non-refundable upon cancellation.)

Program Fees and Employer Sponsorship
Each GEPFP Senior Fellow or the Fellow’s employing agency–the sponsor–pays the base program fee of $750 and travel fees (see participation and additional costs listed below). In addition, the employer provides release time as needed for participation in the United Kingdom Study Tour and other program activities.

Participation Costs:
- GEPFP Program Fee: $750
- United Kingdom Land Package: $3450 (double occupancy), $3835 (single occupancy)
- In-Country Tour Costs: $100

Additional Costs:
- Air Travel to the United Kingdom (varies depending upon departure city and when you book)
- Washington meeting travel costs (hotel/airfare)

Full payment of the Participation Costs is due by July 31st, 2013. Senior Fellows that have not paid the full participation costs by August 16, 2013 will not be able to attend the United Kingdom Study Tour.

[Please note: Travel and health insurance for the international portion of the experience are required and are the sole responsibility of each participant. Individuals are responsible for making their own international flight arrangements to the United Kingdom through the Group Travel Agent.]

Please download, complete, and secure the requisite signatures on this Sponsor Endorsement and upload it to your online application (below). Applications will not be considered without the signed Sponsor Endorsement form.
