Submit to our Alumni Blog
EPFP just welcomed our largest cohort in history. As a growing alumni network with a wealth of collective knowledge, EPFP welcomes submissions from alumni guest bloggers. Over the last 2 years this alumni blog lifted up stories from leaders such as yourselves, ex: Kent McGuire, Steve Staples, Anthony Carnevale, James Ford, Shital Shah, Gay Kingman. We are re-imagining our blog to promote your stories and achievements in organizations and communities. Consider submitting a blog post on policy, leadership, and networking!
We accept submissions reflecting any or all of EPFP’s 3 pillars: policy, leadership, and networking.
Audience: Our audience includes a diverse range of emerging to executive-level leaders for and in education.
Style: Please write in an easy-to-understand, accessible style. We encourage you to provide a link to the evidence or further readings on the subject, if possible.
Format and editing: All submissions will be edited before publication. Keep titles short and simple.
Author bio: Provide us with a two-sentence byline listing your name, title, organization, area of expertise and an optional contact email. Headshots are optional.
Images: We welcome image submissions with your blog, as long as you have the rights to the image and provide a brief caption and photo credit. Images must respect the dignity, values, history, religion and culture of the subject photographed. They must also accurately reflect the subject being discussed and not be misleading.
Originality: We welcome submission of both original material and cross-postings from other blogs. Determination of publication upon review by EPFP. If you are cross-posting, please be sure that you have the right to do so, and that you include a link at the bottom that says, “This piece was originally published on Name of Original Blog on mm/dd/yy.”
Payment: EPFP is unable to pay for contributed blogs and cannot support any copyright clearances or third-party images.
Submission procedures: Please register your interest in submitting a blog post by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org with a full blog post, a relevant cross-posting, or even an idea in the works. Subject line: EPFP Alumni Blog. Each month blog submissions will be reviewed, approved, and scheduled. When approved, email your blog post as a Word document. All images should be attached individually as JPEG files.
If you have any questions about submission guidelines, email Sarah at email@example.com.
Disclaimer: EPFP retains the right to republish blogs in any of our other publications. EPFP also reserves the right to decline to publish a submitted blog for any reason.
