The Institute for Educational Leadership (IEL) is pleased to announce the appointment of EPFP alum Aimee Rogstad Guidera (DC EPFP '97-98), Founder and Executive Director of the Data Quality Campaign (DQC), to the IEL Board of Directors.

Guidera leads DQC's efforts to encourage policymakers to increase the availability and use of high-quality education data to improve student achievement. Prior to launching DQC in 2005, Guidera served as the Director of the Washington, DC, office of the National Center for Educational Accountability. From 1995 to 2003, Guidera filled various roles at the National Alliance of Business (NAB). Prior to joining NAB, Aimee focused on school readiness and services integration in the education unit at the National Governors Association. She also taught for the Japanese Ministry of Education in five Hiroshima high schools, where she interviewed educators and studied the Japanese education system.

Guidera received her Bachelor's degree from Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs and earned a Master’s degree in public policy from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government.
