Submit by Wednesday, February 22nd to Present at the
2012 Washington Policy Seminar!

Don't miss your chance to participate in the Washington Policy Seminar as a concurrent session presenter!

The Washington Policy Seminar will feature two rounds of concurrent sessions that focus on one of the following national education policy issues:

  • Teacher and Teaching Issues
  • Assessment and Accountability
  • Family, School, Community
  • Digital Learning
  • Higher Education
  • School Choice

We seek proposals for the second round of concurrent sessions which will take place on Wednesday, April 25th. These "what is being done” sessions will explore the many ways local and/or state entities respond to national education policy issues, implement and/or sabotage national policies or, equally important, develop their own strategies to address national education policy issues as they play out in their jurisdiction.

Each submission must describe the policy issue to be addressed, provide the national context within the policy context of a particular state or district, and identify the policy/program response on which the presentation will be based. You may submit as an individual or as a small group (no more than three conference participants per proposal).

All proposals must be submitted by Wednesday,02/22 through the online submittal form.
